| There are many interesting people and stories from the early days in the Unassigned Lands, Indian Territory, The Oklahoma Territory and early Oklahoma Statehood. Not the least of these were the Pharmacists and Drugstore owners. A collection of biographies compiled by Carl Buckner, resulted in a two volume set of books published by The Oklahoma Pharmacy Association. Those books have provided the basis for this website. It is the little stories within the biographies that inform, color and enrich the legacy of a most valued profession and its Oklahoma pioneers. Enjoy the stories |
